Presence
Some paintings do not raise their voice. They do not try to prove anything. They exist. And in that quiet existence, they carry something that words would only weaken.
This is a painting about staying. About sitting in the middle of unfinished things and choosing not to run. The background is patched, unresolved, imperfect. The figure does not care. He sits with the kind of calm that comes not from having answers, but from no longer needing them.
Trust does not always look confident. Sometimes it looks like a man on a chair, facing forward, unbothered by what is behind him.
